Financial Options
Our dentist and team provide a variety of financial options to work with your budget so that you and your family can receive the care you need. If you have questions about our financial options, or to make an appointment with Dr. Andrew Cohen at our dental office in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, give us a call at (215) 876-2683. We serve patients from Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
Insurance
Our fees are based on the time, skills, care, materials, and judgment involved in your appointments and the treatment we provide for you. Our administrative team prides itself on assisting patients with understanding the benefits and limitations of their insurance plans. Although your relationship with your insurance company is totally separate from your relationship with our office, we will apply our years of experience to help maximize any insurance benefits that you may have. Our office works with every PPO dental insurance provider to help you maximize your benefits. As a courtesy service, we will submit your dental claims to your insurance provider on your behalf. Your insurance provider will reimburse you directly after your claim has been processed. Your reimbursement will be based on your insurance provider’s usual and customary rates, and the percentage of coverage specific to the treatment you received.
Dental benefits are increasingly becoming a barrier to achieving optimal dental health as insurance companies continue to add restrictions and limitations to what they will approve as a covered treatment. We have made a conscious decision to not have our care influenced by insurance companies or dictate our patients’ treatments. While insurance companies may continue to change their parameters of coverage to be more profitable, we cannot change our philosophy of providing superior dental care. We strive to maintain the highest standard of care for our patients.
If you have active dental benefits, we ask that you please bring a copy of your dental benefits card with you to your first appointment. If your provider has not given you a benefits card, please have your subscriber ID number, group number, and insurance company phone number available at the time of your appointment. If your insurance changes, please bring this information with you so that we can update our records.
